According to the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 on taxation of corporations and businesses (UAE CT Law), businesses are subject to UAE Corporate Tax (CT) from the beginning of their first financial year that starts on or after 1 June 2023. The Decree Law was made available to the public on 9 December 2022 and various Ministerial and Cabinet Decisions have followed henceforth, with more updates and guidance expected to follow.
